SADC-PF TO OBSERVE GENERAL ELECTIONS IN TANZANIA


 Clerk of the National Assembly of Tanzania Dr. Thomas Kashilillah shares experience with the delegation of the leaders of the Southern Africa Development Community –Parliamentary Forum (SADC-PF) when it paid him a courtesy in his Office today. The delegation of five members led by the SADC-PF Secretary General Dr. Esau Chiviya arrived in the country on 22nd of August 2015 to carry out the pre-election observation towards the forth coming general election in Tanzania which is due next month.

            The pre-election observers are expecting to leave the country on 04th of  September 2015 after observing the preparedness level and the readiness of the     voters as they are eagerly waiting to elect their next government. While in the country, the delegation managed to meet with the National Electoral Commission team, (NEC),  Zanzibar Electoral Commission team, (ZEC), Political Parties forum, Media Council of Tanzania (MCT), MISA Tan,  and Association of     NGO,s (TANGO). The SADC-PF is widely renowned for setting benchmarks for free and fair elections.
