Minister for Foreign Affairs and International Co-operation Bernard Membe bids farewell to Sri Lanka President Rajapaksa,former Prime Minister of Malaysia,Prime Minister of Algeria after participating in the 2013 Global Smart Partnership Dialogue


H.E. President Mahinda Rajapaksa of Sri Lanka says goodbye to the Dar es Salaam  Regional Commissioner Saidi Meck Sadik.
 President Rajapaksa says goodbye to Ambassador Mbelwa Kairuki, Director of the Department of Asia and Australasia in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Co-operation.
 President Rajapaksa says goodbye to Mr. Omary Mjenga, Assistant Director of the Department of Asia and Australasia in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Co-operation.
 President Rajapaksa says few words to Hon. Membe prior to his departure yesterday at the Mwalimu Julius Nyerere International Airport in Dar es Salaam.
 President of Sri Lanka Mahinda Rajapaksa says goodbye to Hon. Bernard K. Membe (MP), Minister for Foreign Affairs and International Co-operation.  Witnessing the occasion is Vice President Dr. Mohammed Gharib Bilal and Hon. Mahadhi Juma Maalim (MP), Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs and International Co-operation.
H.E. Mahinda Rajapaksa, President of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka waving various entertainment dancers who came to see him off after his State Visit tour and participation at this year 2013 Global Smart Partnership Dialogue came to an end.  Walking side-to-side with President Rajapaksa is Vice President Dr. Mohammed Gharib Bilal (right) who was there on behalf of President Jakaya Mrisho Kikwete of the United Republic of Tanzania.  Also in the photo is Dar es Salaam Regional Commissioner Saidi Meck Sadik (left).  President Rajapaksa left yesterday at the Julius Nyerere International Airport in Dar es Salaam.
 Hon. Bernard K. Membe (MP), Minister for Foreign Affairs and International Co-operation receives Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad, former Prime Minister of Malaysia, who is also a Commonwealth Partnership for Technology Management (CPTM) Fellow Emeritus and Companion.  Tun Dr. Mohamad has cooperated with a number of African leaders to articulate the aims of the movement in achieving national visions, inclusivity through financial inclusion, quality and standards as well as innovation.  

 Tun Dr. Mohamad is received by Mr. Omary Mjenga, Assistant Director of the Department of Asia and Australasia in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Co-operation.

 Hon. Minister Membe (2nd left), walks former Prime Minister of Malaysia Dr. Mahathir Mohamad to the VIP Room at the Julius Nyerere International Airport in Dar es Salaam.   Dr. Mohamad has been participating in the 2013 Global Smart Partnership Dialogue held from June 28, 2013 at the Mwalimu Nyerere Convention Centre in Dar es Salaam.


Hon. Membe, Dr. Mohamad and Dar es Salaam Regional Commissioner Saidi Meck Sadik exchange views while walking towards a plane that Dr. Mohamad and his beloved wife were going to board to head back to Malaysia.
 Hon. Minister Membe wishes a bon voyage to Algerian Prime Minister Abdelmalek Sellal.

 Hon. Bernard K. Membe (MP), Minister for Foreign Affairs and International Co-operation welcomes H.E. Abdelmalek Sellal, Prime Minister of Algeria upon his arrival at Julius Nyerere International Airport prior to his departure.  Prime Minister Sellal has been in the country attending the 2013 Global Smart Partnership Dialogue held since June 28, 2013 at the Mwalimu Nyerere Convention Centre in Dar es Salaam.  Right is H.E. Ambassador Djellol Tabet of Algeria to the United Republic of Tanzania.
