Commissioner of the Mining Commission, Dr. Theresia Numbi, together with CPA Venance Kasiki, Director of Mineral Audit and Trade, shared valuable insights on available opportunities for Tanzanians in the mineral sector during the Local Content Forum at the Geita Gold Fair 2025.
The forum, themed “Opportunities and Roles for Mining Service Providers and the Importance of Establishing Local Industries,” brought together key stakeholders to discuss how local investors and miners can actively engage in the sector and contribute to value addition.
Guest of Honour, Chairperson Dr. Janet R. Lekashingo, encouraged participants to seize these opportunities for sustainable growth, while other senior leaders, including Commissioner Engineer Theonestina Mwasha, reinforced the Commission’s commitment to transparency and local participation.
