International sports and entertainment journalists visiting Tanzania ahead of AFCON 2027 had a taste of what the country has to offer beyond football when they toured the Ngorongoro Conservation Area on 5 October 2026.
The journalists came face-to-face with Tanzania’s spectacular wildlife, including lions, rhinos and giraffes. Also, they explored the country’s rich human history through a visit to the museum of early human history.
For the visiting journalists, the experience offered a glimpse of what football fans can expect when they travel to Tanzania for AFCON 2027 — world-class football combined with unforgettable tourism experiences.
