The Dodoma Resident Mines Office has announced the relocation of its offices from Kizota to new premises within the Geological Survey of Tanzania (GST) building, located along Kikuyu Avenue near the Post Office.
According to a public notice issued by Engineer Menard Msengi, the Resident Mines Officer, the relocation takes effect from 10th November 2025.
The new office is conveniently accessible via the road from Nyerere Square through Kikuyu Avenue heading towards the Post Office.
Engineer Msengi assured all Government Institutions, Private Sector Entities, and Mining Stakeholders that all services will continue to be offered as usual at the new location during official working hours, from 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., Monday to Friday.
He further expressed appreciation for the continued cooperation of stakeholders and apologized for any inconvenience the relocation may cause.
The relocation aligns with the Mining Commission’s vision of becoming a leading institution in the management and regulation of the mineral sector for sustainable development.
It also supports the Commission’s mission to promote and regulate the mining industry in Tanzania by ensuring transparency, accountability, and value addition for national prosperity.
